  A Short Biography

1957 born in Munich, Germany. 1979 to 1984 studies of painting at the Akademie München (University of Arts Munich, Germany). 1984 to 1989 studies of philosophy at the Universität München (University Munich, Germany). 1987 living and working in France. 1989 moving to Berlin, Germany. 1992 to 1997 co-running the Galerie Broschwitz in Berlin. 1997 and 1998 research project in cooperation wih the Technische Universität Berlin (Technical University of Berlin, Germany). Since 1992 member of the artists group Broschwitz Berlin.

Abstract painting, installations, works in public space, experimental films. Long-term projects as f.e. the works to Roman ("Novel", a painting project, since 1996), to Bild und Bildschirm ("Image And Screen", painting and aesthetical theory, since 1997) and to Schiffe versenken ("Dumping Ships", a painting and research project, with the Broschwitz Group, since 1999).

Numerous exhibitions since 1986 in Germany, France, Denmark, Italy and Switzerland.
